A milestone fifth year, bridging generations of players and earning formal recognition.
Five summers after our first duffel bags landed in the Dominican Republic, the 2025 trip marked a turning point: the Home2First Foundation's work was formally recognized by the communities and academies we serve.
What began as two brothers handing out donated gloves has grown into a bridge between generations of players. This year we distributed one of our largest donations ever (packed with bats, cleats, and sunglasses), reaching kids in the inner cities and at academies across the region, and the foundation was formally recognized by the DR travel authority. Special thanks to Jorge Minyety, Samuel Aquino, Tito Vasquez, and Reynaldo J.
Recognition isn't the goal. It's a checkpoint. It tells us the model works: collect quality gear in Arizona, raise the funds to move it, and put it directly into the hands of kids who play with everything they have.
