Enabling kids to build confidence, teamwork, and community through the great game of baseball.
We are excited to bring baseball back to South Pheonix!
As someone smarter and wiser than us once said - "Change is inevitable, Growth is optional". It's with this in mind that we're thrilled to announce a new direction for Home2First.
While we'll continue to make the DR a major focus for our charitable efforts, we've been looking to increase our involvement in our local Phoenix, AZ community by providing more financial and mentoring assistance to enable more kids to discover, play and eventually love the great game of baseball.
With that, we're excited to announce our partnership with the BALSZ school district, which encompasses nearly 2,000 kids in the South Phoenix area to help kick start a baseball club / league for their school district. Shockingly, kids in this district have not had consistent / organized baseball for over a decade! We're super motivated to change this unfortunate fact and bring baseball back to any and all kids that want to play organized baseball!
This partnership kicks off on Saturday, October 26th at Promise Field (1350 N 48th St) where we will be hosting an intro to baseball clinic for interested players throughout the BALSZ school district. The clinic will be divided into 3 age group buckets (K-2nd Grade / 3rd-5th Graders / 6th-8th Graders) and will focus on the fundamentals of throwing, fielding, hitting and base running.
While there will be several awesome and experienced coaches at the clinic, H2F will be well represented with several H2F Ambassadors and the leadership team, specifically - Cam Caminiti, Ethan Trahan, Geronimo Gomez del Campo and Ryan Penney.

THANK YOU FOR THE COLLECTIVE
SUPPORT OF OUR COMMUNITY!
WE REACHED OUR GOAL!!!
Home2First raised more than $12,000 during our fundraising campaign in December 2023!
(20% above our goal!)
Home2First partnered with Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers to raise money for teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in both poor communities and youth baseball academies across the Dominican Republic (DR) as well as providing scholarships for financially challenged AZ-based players looking to participate in local travel baseball teams!
100% of donated funds will go to kids in need!
We DEEPLY appreciate the support of so many local people!
A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to a local man, Steve Henkelman, who sent Home2First a very generous donation.
